Monday and Tuesday Watercolor Classes Cancelled September 22 and 23! 
Kappa Tau September 3010:00 - 12:30 followed by meal of Soup and Salad at Susan Witt’s House. Bring a gelli plate and a Chinese calligraphy brush if you have these. Susan has several for those who do not have them.

General News

1. The Reception and Awards Presentation for the All-Members Show is October 8 from 5:30 - 7:00. The judge for the show will be Sam Brunett.
2. SAVE THE DATE! The MAA Annual Membership meeting will be TUesday Noverber 18. The time will be announced in a future SPLASH.
3. The MAA was awarded a YCF Organizational Arts Grant of $4,000. This grant was made possible through a collaborative effort between YCF and the Arts Council of Greater Morgantown, the Monongalia County Commission and the Douglas H. Tanner Memorial Fund for the Arts.

Volunteer Information
Become a gallery volunteer! Training for volunteers is held every 1st and 3rd Thursday during open studio times. Other times can be arranged if needed. Please reach out to our webmaster at [email protected] to get your email added to the calendar access list.

MAA GALLERY VOLUNTEER NEWS

• There is an immediate need for volunteers:
• 9/17 Wednesday: 11- 1
• 9/19 Thursday: 1- 3
• 9/24 Wednesday: 1- 3
• 9/25 Thursday: 1- 3
• 9/26 Friday: 11- 1 and 1-3

The next indoor market hosted by Eloquence Antiques has been scheduled for Saturday, 9/27. If people are available to work that day let Stephanie know.

In addition, for those having difficulty accessing the online calendar, downloading the app “google sheets” makes access easier. Opening google sheets will allow you direct access to the online calendar.
