Creative Collage Workshop: March 8, 2025

Participants in the Creative Collage Workshop will explore ways that collage might inspire and encourage individual creativity and artistic expression. This class is for the beginner or advanced artist interest in the art of collage. The instructor will demonstrate how to make various papers using a gelli plate. Participants should complete a finished collage by class end.

Creative Collage Supply List:
8x10” gelli plate - MAA Gallery will have some available to purchase if you do not have one. (Note: you can bring a 5x7” if you do not have or want a larger plate)
Brayer
Acrylic Paints, 3 or more colors of your choice (Note: If you are using the gelli plate you Will need black, high viscosity (tube)
Magazines or images from magazines
Colored papers, white tissue paper, copy paper, rice paper
Cardboard or heavy paper (for substrate)
Glue stick or matte/gloss medium
​Old brushes ​Found papers (bills, labels, old sheet music, postcards, maps, stamps tissue papers, etc.
